Bread Pudding

Bread pudding with nutmeg and brown sugar.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices raisin bread
  • 2 Tbsp. Molly McButter® Natural Butter Flavor Sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup half and half cream
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg (grated)
  • vegetable oil spray

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 4 cup (1L) casserole dish with vegetable oil spray. Arrange raisin bread slices in bottom of casserole dish so no gaps appear, tearing bread if necessary. Whisk together Molly McButter®, milk, half and half, sugar, egg, and nutmeg in a large bowl, until frothy. Pour slowly over bread, making sure all bread is soaked with mixture. Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until skewer inserted in middle comes out clean. Remove from oven, let sit for about 5 minutes. Cut into squares, serve warm.
