Favorite Stuffed Squash

Ingredients

  • 2 Acorn squash
  • 2 Tbsp. Molly McButter® Natural Butter Flavor Sprinkles
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 tsp. raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut squash in half and seed. Place in shallow baking dish. Mix Molly McButter®, brown sugar, and cinnamon with a little hot water, about 1 Tbsp. (15mL), and stir to make a paste. Brush paste over halved squash until well coated and the hollowed out portion has collected the excess. Place a tsp (5mL) of raisins in each piece. Cover dish tightly with foil, place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until tender. Remove cover, baste with juices, and bake for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.
