Rice & Peas Medley

Ingredients:
• 4 Tbsp. (60mL) Molly McButter® Butter Flavored Sprinkles
• 1 Tbsp. (15mL) Mrs. Dash® Onion & Herb Seasoning Blend
• 2 1/2 cups (600mL) reduced sodium chicken broth
• 1 cup (240mL) converted long grain white rice
• 1 1/2 cups (360mL) frozen peas, thawed
Serves: 6
Prep Time: 5 min
Cook Time: 20 min to 22 min
Instructions:
1. Combine all ingredients except peas in saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 15 minutes. Add peas.
3. Cook an additional 5 to 6 minutes, covered, or until liquid is absorbed.
4. Variations - Stir in chopped fresh parsley before serving. - Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese or chopped red bell pepper.
